The holiday season is in full swing, and if you’re in holiday season mode, then you may be looking for some adult bevvies to serve at your holiday dinner party. 3 Classic Christmas Cocktails

More into the classics than the over the top cocktails? Here are three classic Christmas cocktails that all of your adult guests will enjoy. 

#1 Christmas Morning Mimosa

  • 1 bottle of champagne
  • 2 cups of orange juice
  • Orange slices for garnish  

Step 1

Pour the champagne into champagne glasses, filling halfway.

Step 2

Pour in the orange juice and garnish with orange slices.

Step 3


#2 Eggnog Christmas Drinks

  • 1 pint of whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ¼ cup raw cane sugar (use coconut sugar for a healthier option)
  • 3 ounces of rum
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

Step 1

Start by adding the eggs, sugar, and nutmeg to a mixing bowl and mix using a hand-held mixer. Set aside. 

Step 2

Add the milk and heavy cream to a stockpot over low/medium heat and whisk until warm. Pour into the egg mixer and whisk well. 

Step 3

Pour in the rum and chill in the fridge. 

Step 4

Enjoy once chilled.  

#3 Mulled Christmas Wine

  • 1 bottle of your favorite red wine
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • ½ cup raw honey
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 5 cloves
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp. allspice  

Step 1

Place all ingredients into a large stockpot over low heat.

Step 2

Warm the ingredients for 15-20 minutes, making sure that the wine doesn’t come to a boil. 

Step 3

Stir well and pour into your favorite mug. 

Step 4

Sip and enjoy this holiday classic!

3 Classic Christmas Cocktails

If you’re needing a cocktail recipe that you can throw together in a pinch, these three easy Christmas drinks have your Christmas cocktail needs covered.

#1 Christmas Punch


  • 4 cups of organic cranberry juice
  • 1 cup of apple cider
  • 1 cup of rum
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1 cup of cranberries
  • 1 bag of ice

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a large punch bowl and stir. 

Step 2

Chill for 3 hours before serving. 

#2 Peppermint Schnapps Hot Chocolate


  • 1 cup of full-fat unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp. raw cacao powder
  • 1 shot of peppermint Schnapps
  • Coconut whipped cream for topping (optional)

Step 1

Add the coconut milk and raw cacao powder to a stockpot over low heat and whisk well until warm. 

Step 2

Remove from heat and whisk in the peppermint schnapps. 

Step 3

Pour into your favorite mug and top with coconut whipped cream, if using. 

Step 4

Sip and enjoy this holiday classic!

#3 Christmas Sangria 


  • 1 bottle of pinot Grigio
  • ¾ cup sparkling water
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • ½ cup cranberries
  • 2 granny smith apples, chopped

Add all the ingredients to a large pitcher and stir.

Step 2

Chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving.

Step 3

Pour into wine glasses and enjoy as a festive holiday beverage!

Christmas Drinks Non Alcoholic

For the younger holiday dinner party guests or the non alcohol drinkers, here are some go-to alcohol-free Christmas drinks to consider this year.

      • Sparkling water with a splash of cranberry juice
      • Apple cider with a sprinkle of orange zest
      • Hot cocoa
      • Non-alcoholic eggnog
      • Virgin mimosa made with orange juice and sparkling water
